Journalism has given me the opportunity to meet people from every walk of life and to understand the issues that affect them. I believe that connection also brings a responsibility.
Alongside my professional work in journalism and digital media, I participate in and support social causes and initiatives aimed at creating awareness, helping communities and bringing important issues into public discussion.
Why it matters
The media can bring attention to issues that would otherwise remain unheard. It can connect people with conversations that matter and help build awareness around social concerns.
Whether it is highlighting a genuine public concern, giving a voice to people who need to be heard, or supporting a cause that can make a real difference, I believe the media has an important role to play in creating positive change.
