I am Anil Pahwa — a journalist with more than two decades across print and digital media. Today I work as Deputy News Editor with the Punjab Kesari Group, with editorial responsibilities for Punjab and Jammu & Kashmir.
The journey
From a local cable network
to a digital newsroom
My journalism began at the grassroots — reading the news for a local cable network, then reporting for the evening newspaper Encounter.
Every stage added something. The cable network taught me presentation. Reporting taught me how to find the story. Newspapers taught me newsroom discipline. Digital media taught me to adapt.
And experience taught me that journalism is ultimately about trust.
